Refund Policy

Free Trial

All new accounts start with a 30-day free trial of our Enterprise plan with all add-ons enabled. No credit card is required. At the end of the trial, your account automatically downgrades to the Starter plan. No charge is ever made without your explicit consent.

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. When you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months.

If you are unsatisfied within the first 30 days of a new paid subscription, contact us for a full refund. No questions asked.

Annual Subscriptions

Annual subscriptions are billed upfront at a 20% discount (equivalent to 2 months free). If you cancel within the first 30 days, we will provide a full refund. After 30 days, we will refund the remaining unused months on a prorated basis.

Add-Ons

Premium add-ons follow the same refund policy as the base subscription. Add-ons can be added or removed at any time, with changes taking effect at the next billing cycle.

Downgrades

When downgrading from a higher tier to a lower tier, you retain access to higher-tier features until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the difference.

Billing Errors

If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 60 days and we will investigate and correct any billing mistakes promptly.

How to Request a Refund

Contact us at accounting@worktrac.io with your account email and the reason for your request. We process refunds within 5-10 business days back to the original payment method.

Data After Cancellation

After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days. During this period, you can reactivate your account and restore all data. After 30 days, data is permanently deleted. You may request a data export at any time before deletion.

Refund FAQ

Does WorkTrac have a money-back guarantee?

Yes. Every new paid subscription comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee. If WorkTrac is not the right fit for your field crew within the first 30 days, email us and we will issue a full refund, no questions asked. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

Do I need a credit card to try WorkTrac?

Do you offer prorated refunds?

It depends on the plan. Annual subscriptions are refunded in full within the first 30 days, and prorated for the remaining unused months after that. Monthly subscriptions are not prorated for a partial month, but you keep full access through the end of the billing period you already paid for.

How long does a refund take?

Once approved, refunds are processed within 5 to 10 business days back to your original payment method. The exact time the funds appear depends on your bank or card issuer. If you were charged in error, contact us within 60 days and we will investigate and correct it promptly.

Will I lose my data if I cancel?

Not immediately. Your data is kept for 30 days after cancellation so you can reactivate and restore everything if you change your mind. You can also export your data at any time before the 30-day window closes. After that, it is permanently deleted.
